Flagstaff Academy is home to the preschool with the highest rating by Colorado Shines. Flagstaff offers full-day, morning and afternoon preschool sessions (for children 3 to 5 years) to fit your family’s needs. The fee-based program, founded in 2009, incorporates the Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence Curriculum and Early Learning Developmental Guidelines. The program offers specialized instruction in music, Spanish, nutrition—even horticulture in our unique outdoor greenhouse classroom. All staff hold a bachelor’s degree and are Early Childhood Education qualified teachers. The main focus is to teach students how to problem solve, resolve conflict, and use discussions on feelings and emotions to help them become effective communicators. Flagstaff Academy is Healthy Eating and Active Learning (HEAL) certified. 2022-2023 preschool enrollment is now open.
